To do this, the interpreter sits in a soundproof booth in front of a microphone, using an interpreter panel that controls the sound that enters and exits, listening to the speakers’ interventions and translating them in real time into the other active language. Using wireless receivers the participants listen to the lecture in their native language. The translation technician constantly controls the quality of the incoming and outgoing sound and remedies the usual problems of microphones.
This interpretation option requires specific material and technical equipment.
